I attended cottons for their New Year’s Eve event. The food took forever to arrive! When our starters came, one plate of prawns was served cold and returned back TWICE for the same reason! the manager, seemed to get frustrated with us and when she brought the food out a second time she placed it on the table and said thank you sarcastically. Thank you for what? Our mains were terrible. I ordered the pork belly which was overdone and burnt. The rice came with clumps of burnt rice which had no flavour. My friends salmon was so overcooked. I had a crème brulee for dessert which was a joke. It was more like a panacotta. My five year old could have given a better attempt at the presentation. Big fat joke. As an establishment do better. You wouldn’t be happy receiving a service like this, so don’t get annoyed at us for us being upset with this poor quality of food. I ended the night with Mc Donald’s and I can honestly say it was better than what I ate at cottons. Me and my friends deserve a refund. We didn’t even receive the Prosecco we were supposed to receive at midnight.

I came as part of a group of 8 for a team Christmas lunch. Even before the booking there was great communication between us and the restaurant - we were asked to complete a pre-order form which made the afternoon seamless; delivering the food to us personally, leaving us to focus on enjoying each others company, soak in the island vibes, and order pitchers of rum with some juice in it...! 😁 If I had to give some constructive feedback, Caribbean covers of festive songs would have made the visit sensational, but appreciate availability may be limited. Looking forward to my next visit!

Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambience - 5/5 Cost - 5/5 Brought my mum and her friends here for her birthday (September 2022) and it did not disappoint. It was a first time visit for me so I wasn’t sure what to expect but they truly exceeded expectations! Especially for a busy Friday night. The staff and management were very accommodating, friendly, helpful and went out of there way for us to enjoy the evening. The food was really good, wasn’t completely authentic but rather a lovely interpretation of traditional flavours and dishes. Portion sizes were very generous. The drinks were 10/10 (both mocktails and cocktails), they were extremely generous and gave us complimentary birthday shots too! If I wasn’t so tired and full up, I’d have gotten desert but those that did, enjoyed it. They had a live DJ in and the music was good, everyone was dancing and had a really good time. Great vibe and ambience. The decor is unique, colourful and beautiful. Each booth represents a different Caribbean island and is decorated accordingly (downstairs). Lovely space! Deceptive from the outside, honestly! Thank you to staff and management for giving my mum and friends such a lovely experience, I’ll be back for sure! Parking is fairly limited during the day and only slightly better in the evening. I would recommend using alternative transport especially since their cocktails are strong!

OMG, what a wonderful finish to a night. From the time we hit this place to the time we left, it was an amazing experience. The staff team went over and above to make my friend's bday special after the poor experience we had experienced earlier. We also spoke to the owner. What a great guy he really fixed our night for us. Is all I can say is I'll definitely be returning. Great night out.

Thee most amazing sizzling prawn starter. Incredible skewer that fell off the stick. And the most beautifully balanced and powerful yet flavourful cocktails (as well as mock tails) I highly recommend the Papa on the beach. Great vibes from the interior design and great table service from waitresses and waiters equally as enthusiastic about their restaurants food and drink.

My favourite of the Cotton's branches. If you are thinking Cotton's, think Shoreditch. Friendly and courteous staff, special shout out to Charmaine. Music doesn't disappoint either; a little shimmy while you eat can't be avoided. The food is cooked well and full of flavour, as you should expect. I'll be back again and then some.
